Events/Meetings & Promotions


VCC Event & Promotion Request Form is for staff or ministry leaders only.

This form is for the following:
o Request space on campus for an event to be added to the church wide calendar.
o Request marketing/communications for a event/meeting through VCC’s communication platforms.

Please allow 4-6 weeks prior to your event promotional start date.

If you have any changes to the form after it is submitted and added to the calendar please email kellym@vc.church and alisha@vc.church to confirm changes will work and that your event is promoted correctly.


Calendar Reservation

If you are not ready to submit details for your events & promotion request, but need to request a reservation for space please submit this calendar reservation form. Make plans to come back to submit the promotion request from when you have all of your details ready!

Photo Collection

Upload and download event photos for use on our website, social media, print materials and videos.


Website Ministry Page Updates

If you have a website update that needs to be made for your ministry that is not related to an event or promotion please fill out this form and we will update your ministry page as soon as possible.


Graphics

 
 

Graphics are needed for most promotions. We are happy to help with all your ministry design needs. Graphics are designed by the Worship & Arts Pastor and/or the Communications Director.

If you would like to do your own graphics, please note they will need to be approved prior to use and please keep in mind the VCC branding outlined above when creating your design.

We will need the following to promote your request on these listed platforms.

Sizes Needed for Graphic Designs:

Social Media: 1080 X 1350 (Portrait) & 1080 X 1920 (Stories)

The Weekly: 1080 X 1350

Website: 1920 X 1200

App: 1920 X 1200 (minimal verbiage on this design needed - title only so it can link to details)

Announcement Slide:
1920 X 1200

TV Lobby Slide: 1920 X 1080

Tips for Graphics:

  • Limit details provided on the graphic to the most important (i.e. event name, date/time, contact or way to register). It can be difficult to read a lot of information quickly during an announcement or rotating slide. Full details will be shared in verbal & written communication provided when the graphic is used.

  • Use clear fonts that can be read easily.

  • Make sure background is dark enough to allow font to be read easily.

  • Double check to ensure your dates and contact information are correct.

  • Dates should be written out 1.1.23. Times should be as follows: 1:15PM or 1PM. (All uppercase)

Graphics:
If there are any graphics that you would like added to you promotions, please email them to alisha@vc.church for your ministry after you submit the request form.


Stand Alone Weekly Blurb

If you have a simple blurb that you would like in “The Weekly” that does not fall under the events or promotions request, you can submit the verbiage directly with this form.


VCC Calendar Access

You can check the church-wide calendar through Planning Center prior to requesting space to see what events and space are being utilized on your preferred date. If you have questions please contact Kelly McIntosh.
