We believe God has called his church to "seek the good of the city." (Jer. 29) To be apart of helping it flourish. That’s why we started Inklings, to be a place for connection and community. We also believe Inklings is a place for the church to come together with the community. We host events and meetings through out the year to connect with people from our community and demonstrate the love and hospitality of Jesus. We have a variety of ways to serve at Inklings and the best way to get connected is by signing up for our City Renewal Team.
Looking for a way to make a long-term impact in the community? Join our free tutoring ministry with the City Renewal team. Our mission: Partner in the Tri-Valley to create safe learning spaces for the next generation, fostering academic success with compassion, expertise, and support. All with a heart for long-term gospel ministry.
Our tutoring ministry is at the Livermore Library on Tuesdays from 6:00-7:00 PM.
Whether you're skilled in math, reading, or another subject, your time and care can help students succeed in their studies and build confidence. Be a part of this rewarding opportunity to serve our community!

Monthly Miracles is a Tri-Valley homeless ministry whose mission is to save our neighbors from homelessness. Come join us and the Monthly Miracles team on Friday mornings 9-11AM, and offer help with greeting clients, assisting in the intake process, typing up notes, or praying over clients!
A coalition of churches providing loving homes for children in foster care. Join our team as we seek God to raise up foster families at VCC and prepare to care for them as a church family.
Join their team to receive evangelism training and serve as a missionary, bringing comfort, encouragement, and support to children, parents, and individuals facing hardship. Together, you will address their physical needs, uplift their emotional well-being, and invest in their future success.
Rescue America is a Christian organization dedicated to rescuing, reviving, and empowering the sexually exploited through a 24/7 hotline and emergency response.
Lighthouse Hub meets monthly for two hours to make outbound calls to individuals in the sex industry. Using a secure tool, volunteers contact numbers scraped from escort ads, following a simple script to share the hotline and offer hope. Volunteers work in pairs or small groups, with the option to listen and pray. No experience is required—just a heart to shine Christ’s light in the darkness.
As one survivor said: “Wait. You want to PRAY for me, not PAY for me?"

Hot Cocoa in the Tenderloin
Join us in offering hot cocoa and meaningful conversations to our neighbors on the sidewalks of San Francisco, alongside YWAM missionaries. We carpool from Pleasanton about once a month on a Friday night. Step out of your comfort zone and see how God can use you!
