VCC Women's Ministry is hosting a night of worship and prayer-- and we'd love to have you there! If you are a woman looking to spend time with Jesus through worship and prayer, this is a wonderful opportunity to slow down and be present before God. Our night will focus on honesty with Jesus and allowing Jesus to speak life-giving truth over each of us. What a joy it is to worship and pray as a community of women. Make plans to join the Women’s Bible Study for our spring study, Saved: Experiencing the Promise of the Book of Acts, by Nancy Guthrie. The study kicks off the week of January 12th and will end the week of May 18th. Groups meet on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in person or online.

At VCC, we love to partner with parents and families as their kids grow to know and love Jesus. One way to begin this journey is through Baby Dedications, as our congregation and parents commit to one another to create a place for God's love to be shared and taught to children. If you would like to dedicate your child or children, please register for the Nov 13th class on Zoom and plan to participate in the service on Sunday, Nov 17th.

On Tuesday, November 5, we invite you to join us for a Day of Prayer as we lift our nation in prayer on Election Day. The Sanctuary will be open from 6AM to 6PM with hosted prayer times at 6AM and 12PM. Let’s come together to seek God’s face. As 2 Chronicles 7:14 says, “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land."

August 11th is "Move On Up" Sunday at VCC! As a new school year begins we are excited to celebrate our children as they move up to their next grade! Move on up Sunday is when each child will transition to their new age-appropriate Sunday School class. Kinder-5th Grades will check-in to the Blue Room first at the VCC Kids Welcome Center and will be picked up in the Sanctuary as all the kids will participate in the installation of Ms. Kaelee as our new VCC Kids Director!

Baptism involves washing with water, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It serves as a potent symbol and seal of the promise of salvation we find in Jesus, signifying our cleansing from sin and our commitment to belong to the Lord and His church. Hence, we often regard sacraments as "visible declarations of good news." Through baptism, we respond to the transformative work already accomplished in our hearts by Christ, fulfilling the call of the Great Commission to be baptized (Matt. 28:19) in obedience to His command.
