If you have not yet been baptized as an apprentice of Jesus, this is your next faithful step. VCC Women's Ministry is hosting a night of worship and prayer-- and we'd love to have you there! If you are a woman looking to spend time with Jesus through worship and prayer, this is a wonderful opportunity to slow down and be present before God. Our night will focus on honesty with Jesus and allowing Jesus to speak life-giving truth over each of us. What a joy it is to worship and pray as a community of women. We encourage you to bring a personal journal and Bible, but we'll have extras available if you need them! GriefShare: Surviving the Holidays is a 2-hour session to find comfort and care in God's love with others walking through grief. Please RSVP for childcare by Thursday, 12.5.

Parents, Family, and Friends will enjoy a Christmas Party with dinner, music, and other festive elements. Meanwhile, downstairs, the party continues with guests with Disabilities/Neurodivergence and Neurotypical Siblings at a fun Respite event with lots of Christmas activities that will spread the joy of Jesus! Aides/1:1 Helpers will be assigned to ensure the best possible experience.

If you're a group leader or want to host Alpha at home, work, or school, join us for New Leader Training on Thursday, 11.14 at 6:30PM at Inklings Coffee & Tea. We'll equip you to lead in the Spirits power and inspire meaningful faith conversations.

At VCC, we love to partner with parents and families as their kids grow to know and love Jesus. One way to begin this journey is through Baby Dedications, as our congregation and parents commit to one another to create a place for God's love to be shared and taught to children. If you would like to dedicate your child or children, please register for the Nov 13th class on Zoom and plan to participate in the service on Sunday, Nov 17th.

Ladies! You are invited to a Succulent Pumpkin Workshop at the home of Sheri Newman on Saturday, 11.9 from 10AM - 12PM. The cost will be $25. This fee will cover all of your supplies for the workshop. Light refreshments will be served as well. On Tuesday, November 5, we invite you to join us for a Day of Prayer as we lift our nation in prayer on Election Day. The Sanctuary will be open from 6AM to 6PM with hosted prayer times at 6AM and 12PM. Let’s come together to seek God’s face. As 2 Chronicles 7:14 says, “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land."

It's time for our Fall Respite event! Sign up to volunteer or attend this fun morning hosted by Disability Ministry. Respite is designed for people with disabilities/neurodivergence to come have fun at VCC while families have a couple hours off-site. Join as a guest, 1:1 host ("buddy"), or another volunteer role.
