VCC Women's Ministry is hosting a night of worship and prayer-- and we'd love to have you there! If you are a woman looking to spend time with Jesus through worship and prayer, this is a wonderful opportunity to slow down and be present before God. Our night will focus on honesty with Jesus and allowing Jesus to speak life-giving truth over each of us. What a joy it is to worship and pray as a community of women. We encourage you to bring a personal journal and Bible, but we'll have extras available if you need them! Join us Thursday, January 9 from 7-8:30PM in the Sanctuary. No registration necessary.

What goes up must come down!  While Christmas is still a few weeks away, we’re already planning ahead.  Join us the Sunday after Christmas as we pack up our festive decor and prepare for the New Year. If you are experiencing grief or loss, the holiday season can be painful. We'd like to invite you to a special lunch and time of support and prayer on Sunday, 12.8, following the second service in the Seminar Room. GriefShare: Surviving the Holidays is a 2-hour session to find comfort and care in God's love with others walking through grief. Please RSVP for childcare by Thursday, 12.5.

Join us for a festive evening as we celebrate Christmas with a Party and Respite Event! Friday, December 6th, 6PM-8PM, hosted at VCC. Parents, Family, and Friends will enjoy a Christmas Party with dinner, music, and other festive elements. Meanwhile, downstairs, the party continues with guests with Disabilities/Neurodivergence and Neurotypical Siblings at a fun Respite event with lots of Christmas activities that will spread the joy of Jesus! Aides/1:1 Helpers will be assigned to ensure the best possible experience.

Passionate about evangelism but unsure how to share your faith? Alpha makes it easy! If you're a group leader or want to host Alpha at home, work, or school, join us for New Leader Training on Thursday, 11.14 at 6:30PM at Inklings Coffee & Tea. We'll equip you to lead in the Spirits power and inspire meaningful faith conversations.

At VCC, we love to partner with parents and families as their kids grow to know and love Jesus. One way to begin this journey is through Baby Dedications, as our congregation and parents commit to one another to create a place for God's love to be shared and taught to children. If you would like to dedicate your child or children, please register for the Nov 13th class on Zoom and plan to participate in the service on Sunday, Nov 17th.

Ladies! You are invited to a Succulent Pumpkin Workshop at the home of Sheri Newman on Saturday, 11.9 from 10AM - 12PM. The cost will be $25. This fee will cover all of your supplies for the workshop. Light refreshments will be served as well. On Tuesday, November 5, we invite you to join us for a Day of Prayer as we lift our nation in prayer on Election Day. The Sanctuary will be open from 6AM to 6PM with hosted prayer times at 6AM and 12PM. Let’s come together to seek God’s face. As 2 Chronicles 7:14 says, “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land."

Join us for the VCC Kids Harvest Gathering on November 1 from 5-7pm! Bring the whole family for an evening filled with food, games, crafts, and great fellowship with other VCC families. Come celebrate the season with us—there's something for everyone!

Ladies, join us for The Well, a special evening for women to come as they are and encounter Jesus. The Well will be held on Thursday, October 24. Enjoy an optional dinner at 6:30PM, followed by a time of worship, teaching, and community beginning at 7:15PM.

If you have not yet been baptized as an apprentice of Jesus, this is your next faithful step. Join us for our next class and learn about the biblical significance of baptism that will equip and prepare you for your new life in Christ. (Matt. 28:19, Acts 2:38–41)

If you would like to be baptized or are interested in learning more, please register below for the online Zoom class on October 21 @6:30PM. We will be celebrating new life with baptisms on November 3! 

It's time for our Fall Respite event! Sign up to volunteer or attend this fun morning hosted by Disability Ministry. Respite is designed for people with disabilities/neurodivergence to come have fun at VCC while families have a couple hours off-site. Join as a guest, 1:1 host ("buddy"), or another volunteer role.

It's a chance to learn about VCC's vision for the new fiscal year, meet the incoming elders, enjoy desserts, receive ministry updates, review the budget, and participate in a Q&A session with our elders and officers before the vote closes on Sunday, September 22nd.
