We’re Hiring: Student Ministry Associates

Are you passionate about students encountering Jesus and growing in their faith? Valley Community Church is looking for two dynamic team players to join our Student Ministry Team as Student Ministry Associates—one focused on Middle School Ministry (Refuge) and one focused on High School Ministry (Local).

These part-time roles (20-24 hrs/wk) support the mission of Student Ministries through administrative excellence, creative programming, and relational presence. If you're highly organized, people-focused, and love serving students, we’d love to connect with you.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide key admin support: event registration, supply runs, communication lists, database management, calendar oversight, and camp logistics.

  • Help plan and prep for sermon series, events, programs, and weekly gatherings.

  • Support midweek programs and participate in student events like camps, retreats, and baptism nights.

  • Grow as a communicator with opportunities to teach and share with students.

  • Build meaningful relationships with students, modeling leadership and apprenticeship to Jesus.

  • Equip and encourage our amazing team of small group leaders.
