YET HE ABIDES
The big story of the Bible is one of God creating for himself a people with which to dwell in eternal love. And though we (Israel, all humanity, us!) have been unfaithful, Yet He abides! Christmas is the glorious story of this good God coming to abide with us in the person of Jesus Christ in order to reunite us with our Heavenly Father. For Jesus is Immanuel, “God With Us”.
